Democracy in GB, US and Russia?
Letting the question abide as to whether there is a proper democracy in either GB or the USA, Russia's problem was that until the Revolution it was ruled by autocratic Tsars who insisted that all power was vested in them. The slow move to a representative democracy as happened in Western Europe and the USA during the 19th and early 20th centuries was just never allowed to happen. When the Tsarist system was overthrown in 1917 it was replaced by an equally autocratic system, that of communism where eventually Stalin acted as ruthlessly as the Tsars who had preceded him.
