I found out I'm color blind... so now I can't be a NYS Trooper. How much does life suck right now?

You have to take an eye test as the last step of evaluation... I ran 3 miles a day for like weeks and got a good rank on the civil service test, and it's all for nothing I can never join :-( What a dumb rule, I'm not even THAT color blind it's very mild I just can't tell like shades of khaki, but I can't see the numbers on those dot tests so I can't p. This sucks a lot. I really wanted to be a detective some day like my dad was :-(
