If he is willing to wait and isn't being entirely physical, it is possible that he is actually a genuinely good person. A year seems like a long time to ask anyone to wait though so my advice would be to make sure that he really understands exactly what he is getting himself into as far as waiting and if he still is willing to wait, you have a keeper. If he keeps bringing it up and starts getting persistent with it, eventually he may move on to other girls though so make sure you lay everything out on the table for him and make sure he realizes that he is going to wait for a year. Realistically, if he is willing to wait for a year, then he probably doesn't have anyone else that is in his sights right now. Only time will tell. Good luck!
