A case study question?
This is one of the realities of the business world. You have good hardworking employees, you have too much inventory, and probably worst of all you want to be loyal to your employees because they are loyal to you. I once told a boss that I had a problem. He told me that I had no problem, I had a opportunity. Well you have a opportunity. A lot of managers and companies are good at making money and running companies when things are good but they think they are the reason for everything going well. They have forgot the employees who are producing the goods. With your opportunity, why would you not go to the employees and talk with them and between management and worker a solution may be found and it not be as hard and painful as both parties imagined. Remember that neither party would be part of the organization if they were not making money.
